TRAINING SERVICES
An increasingly important area of company business in overseas markets is the provision of specialist training services.
The company provides equipment-orientated courses aimed at teaching customers optimum use of newly provided equipment. All courses are tailor-made, but typically last 2 to 6 weeks with instruction provided by 3-5 instructors. Also provided are long-term, in-country, residential training programmes with a larger Transac Training Team.
Course subjects range from Basic Equipment Familiarisation modules on IEDD, Search and EOD equipment, focusing on the simple use and management of the item, to more extensive Advanced Operator modules. Such courses are undertaken by a resident Transac Training Team (TTT) in the client country and are “phased” in their presentation, i.e. Theory, Practical and finally Assessment.
Transac International provides Stand Alone Courses where TTT staff are employed by a Third Party company to teach students on their particular equipment, as opposed to a part of any Transac International contract. Recent examples of this include;
TTT staff members are typically former members of the UK EOD, Search and/or Special Forces. We insist on operational and instructional experience in their particular speciality. As required, they are assisted by technically aware interpreters generally sourced from the client-country and factory-trained equipment support managers.
