Transac Design

All vehicles are designed on a bespoke basis following in-depth consultation with the customer, identifying specific requirements, the design and manufacturing team begin finalising the end product.  The following are extracts from a typical design consideration exercise:

Examples of previous Design

  • Optimum space allocation in the vehicle for a ROV/s with disrupter
  • Inset channels set into vehicle floors for secure transport
  • Battery charging facility during medium and long term storage periods
  • Air-condition storage area that functions during static periods and operation time
  • Secure storage provision for multi-weapon ammunition
  • Separate protected storage for detonators
  • Wiring and plugs to UK or as required any other international standard.
  • Provide and store all electrical and specialist tools for Robot and optional mounts
  • Provide and store specialist tools for loading disrupters
  • Provide test equipment for Robot, disrupters and X-ray system
  • Provide workshop area to assemble robot during transportation
  • Provide and store additional battery packs for ancillary equipment
  • Install illuminated magnifier in workshop area
  • Design, and install robot controls / flat screen HD monitor into the command area
  • Provide for 12V and 220/240 electricity supply/battery banks charged by vehicle engine/remotely started generator (during transport) mains land-line feed (during storage)
  • Provide for installation of intelligent battery charger, test and power status equipment
